Earlier this week, the news came that Norwegian national team coach Geir Endre Rogn, 38, quit the Norwegian team because his wife is seriously ill.

Together with Ole Morten Iversen, 61, he has been the boss of the Norwegian ladies for the past two years.

However, positive for Norway is that Iversen will continue.

The 61-year-old has signed a new two-year contract as the ladies' union.

- It was not a difficult decision. But some pieces have to fall into place, he tells Trönder-Avisa.

Iversen coached the Swedish women's national team between 2016-2018 and Stina Nilsson's personal trainer.
