The Partille Cup is the world's largest handball tournament with around 1200 participating teams with 23,000 participants from 50 countries.

- We have made an overall assessment of the situation that is affected by the ongoing pandemic. We and our participating teams have had a strong desire to carry out the tournament, even in a smaller format than usual. At the same time, we have been clear that health and safety are always our top priority. With the information we receive about the situation, we do not see that the situation can be guaranteed to have changed enough in early July for the tournament to be conducted, says Fredrik Andersson.

The organizer also announces that any participant fees paid will be refunded. Laws that have paid registration fees have the option of either getting it back or allowing it to apply for years to come.
