The Sudanese soccer team has become the most prominent beneficiaries of the decision of the International Federation of Football "FIFA" and the African Union "K" to suspend sports activity after the World Health Organization warned of the spread of the Corona virus epidemic after the death and injury of thousands around the world.

The Secretary-General of the Sudanese Federation, Hassan Abu Jabal, said in press statements published by the Al-Sada Sports newspaper today, Wednesday, that the Coruna epidemic had temporarily canceled the visit of the African Union inspection team to Khartoum to determine the readiness of stadiums to host international matches.

He explained that the delegation was scheduled to visit Sudan last week to find out the correction of the observations that the delegation had made on its previous visit in order to allow matches to be held in Sudan.

Abu Jabal said that the risk of the country being denied hosting international matches remains.

The Secretary-General of the Sudanese Federation indicated that the inspection delegation had settled in its last visit on the presence of 29 notes at Halim Shaddad Stadium, along with 6 notes on the Blue Gem Stadium, a stronghold of Al Hilal team, and that the delegation had given the Football Association until March 15 to fulfill the obligations to continue hosting the matches.
