- Sure it's boring, but life and health take precedence over everything else. It was the right decision and it was a good decision, ”says Åsa Llinares Norlin, chairman of Sweden's Paralympic Committee, to SVT Sport.

"Of course a major change"

For many athletes, the Olympics are the big highlight of the year and they plan their championships. Now the athletes have to postpone that planning for a year.

- As chairman, it is important to find a daily life after this, how we can support our active now. Of course, it is a big change for them to think about and make a venture that is one year away. There we need to be responsive to what our activists need, says Llinares Norlin.

How has covid19 affected your work differently?

- Like many other, very digital meetings. We have the parasport gala on Monday, but completely digital. Our target group is extremely vulnerable and many belong to the risk group. For us, it is extra important to find new ways to communicate with our members and instill hope and belief that there will be another everyday life after this.
