Tuomas Määttä is only 23 years old, but has settled on an SM final before. In 2017 he was a newcomer to the club, and stood for a solo show in the high school when Edsbyn beat Bollnäs in the final. Now it is 2020, and Määttä seems even stronger: when Edsbyn beat Sandviken in the last SM seminar, Määttä set four goals on the rake.

- Often you are at your best when the season ends, you just get better and better.

How good are you now, compared to when you made the final in 2017?

- I think better, but there are still things I can improve.

- He is uniquely agile in his way of moving in all directions on the course, says the club's coach Ola Johansson, ahead of the finals to be played without crowds because of the concern for the corona virus.

- It will probably look empty and quiet, it will be a special final, so you have to push yourself a lot, says the low-key Määttä.
