The Ligue 1 meeting between Strasbourg and PSG, initially scheduled for Saturday March 7 and postponed due to the coronavirus crisis, will be contested in a "closed session" on Wednesday March 18, the Strasbourg club announced on Wednesday.

In a press release, the Alsatian club affirms that "the LFP competition committee today pronounced on the holding of the match on Wednesday March 18 (schedule not yet defined) behind closed doors".

The Professional Football League announced on Tuesday that the L1 and L2 matches scheduled until mid-April will take place in "closed doors", in accordance with the "doctrine" advocated by the government to limit the risks of spread of the new coronavirus, responsible for around thirty deaths in France according to the latest official report.
