He told «Emirates Today»: «I decided to end my career in car racing after more than 18 years in which I started these races from a young age, starting from the Awafi Festival before it was canceled, then participating in Umm Al Quwain race, as I was present in many external races in Oman and Saudi Arabia, while most races were concentrated in the recent period in Abu Dhabi between Sweihan and Liwa, which are currently approved races in the Emirates, where they are very secured, and there are inspection and safety and security measures, but what happened was out of control, and I do not know why the car headed To the left side. ”

He added, "I have 10 children and they need more than these races, and so far I do not know how to survive this accident." Regarding the injuries sustained after the accident, he confirmed that he had a chest injury, but indicated that he did not need any surgical intervention, and that the injury would heal alone, along with some bruises and leg swelling, saying that some tests are still being done.

And about car racing, he said it was more a hobby than a profession, and its prize money often ranged between 10 thousand and 30 thousand dirhams for the first three.
