Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho sent a message to the fans of Liverpool, the Premier League soccer club, after his valuable team 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the twenty-fifth round of the Premier League.
Mourinho confirmed that "the mission is over", the City's Premier League champions in the past two seasons will not be crowned the title that will go this season to the Liverpool team led by its German coach Juergen Klopp.
For his part, Pep Guardiola, the city's coach, admitted losing the title, also confirming that he would go to the Reds stronghold, Anfield, and said after his defeat against Tottenham, "Liverpool is a team that no one can stop."
Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League with 73 points, 22 points behind second-placed City, and the 30-year-old championship, which has been absent from its coffers, only needs to win six of the 13 matches remaining in the tournament, regardless of the results of the rest of its competitors.
