It looked like it could be a dream debut for Perra in Oskarshamn's booth away to Rögle when Röglebacken Eric Gelinas, after just over half the match, fell 2-0 to Oskarshamn via Christoffer Rifalk's leg. But Rögle has shown SHL that they can be a difficult team this year, and they still are today.

For in just three minutes, the home team would manage to acknowledge when baking Dominik Bokk in powerplay put 1-2, and Dennis Everberg with 14 seconds left of the period acknowledged 2-2.

Williamsson was forced to break

In the third period, it would continue to laugh at Oskarshamn. First, Tex Williamsson was forced out after a collision where a home player went on goal. And a cold Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel in the IKO box was something that Rögle would use.

And it was the leading players in the team who showed the way when the Ängelholmspubliken got to cheer twice in a short time again. First, Ted Brithén made it 3-2, and just 34 seconds later, he passed on to Kodie Curran who was able to step in unattended on the left and dot 4-2 into the far corner.

Aim without putting the puck

In the final minutes, Daniel Zaar would succeed with the company scoring goals without getting the puck into the net. With open cage, Zaar was hooked, fell to the ice, and was awarded goals. But the final goal of the match would not be, for Oskarshamn managed 25 seconds later to get a consolation puck when they set the final score 5-3 to Rögle.
