Al Ain team won the Emirates Handball Cup for the men's stage, after its victory yesterday, against Al-Nasr «24-22» in the final match that brought the two teams together in Maliha Hall in Sharjah.

The final round of the tournament also saw the owner of the hospitality team, the Maliha Club, beat the National Youth Team by 26-22, with Mleiha taking the third place.

After the end of the competitions, the Assistant Secretary General of the General Sports Authority, Khaled Al Midfa, accompanied by the President of Handball Federation, Mohamed Abdel Karim Julfar, and members of the boards of both clubs and the Board of Directors of the game, crowned the winning teams in the first three places.

In the details, he imposed the same tie for the first ten minutes, the last of which was with a result of "9-9", before victory succeeded in advancing by two goals at the end of the first half by (12-14), and then maintaining this difference until the 20th minute of the half-life. In the third-place match, the players of the national youth team learned how to embarrass the Maliha team for men by ending the first half "13-13", but the difference in experience was in the interest of Maliha, who knew how to end the game to their advantage by (26-22).
