Just a few hours before the final climb of the Tour de Ski, the message came that Ebba Andersson, who was chasing a podium in the total, was over today's competition due to illness.

Something that Norwegian competitor Ingvild Flugstad Östberg thought was boring.

- It got a little easier when Ebba didn't start, it would have been exciting to see how things had gone otherwise. I think she had been very strong, ”says Östberg to SVT Sport.

- We had seen before her that she could catch Therese.

"I was feeling sick"

Personally, Östberg, who finished third today and overall, was very pleased with his performance.

Especially considering how much she had to tear up the rally.

- I didn't even think I was going to finish. I thought now I can lose 20 seconds on the last 100 meters, it was a real fool. I became nauseous and it completely stopped.

- It's been a long time since I've had so much pain. I just felt that "now someone can take off my skis and poles so I can get help". Therefore, I am really proud of what I have achieved, based on my own expectations.
