It was in the match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Freiburg that Frankfurt's teammate David Abraham, after the final signal, ran across the sideline to retrieve the ball and ran right over the opposing coach Christian Streich. Afterwards, a fight broke out between several of the players.

For the initiative, Abraham will be suspended until December 29 and will also be fined 25,000 eros, corresponding to SEK 268,250.

Freiburg forward Vincenzo Grifo is suspended three games after he tried to take revenge on Abraham.
