The Czech Republic had powerplay halfway into the third period and pressed for a 2-0 goal when it became full caliber in front of goalkeeper Alexander Samonov.

A heavy back shot was saved by Semonov, but the puck bounced up in the air and rolled down behind his back while several players in both teams crashed against the box.

A Russian player was seated inside the goal cage and the referees chose to videotape the situation.

Lääääänge.

After about seven minutes of waiting and confusion - both for players and commentators - came the message.

"Absolutely impossible to decide"

Czech's Lukas Sedlak had somewhere in the mess 2-0.

- So it is absolutely impossible to decide. I do not understand how it can be so, now we still have nice camera angles from the side and from the target, but you can not tell if the puck is inside or not. I can't do it anyway.

Commentator Chris Härenstam:

- I don't doubt that the puck is inside, but the question is if you have proof of that. I can't see these pictures and that's where the challenge lies.

The Czech Republic eventually won by 3-0 after scoring the last goal in an empty box.
