This summer, Alexander Isaac signed for Real Sociedad in La Liga. The newly-20-year-old has had playing time in each league match so far and has been recorded for eight goals and a starting place in eight matches.
The first goal in La Liga came just over two weeks ago against Espanyol when the Swede countered and placed the ball.
- Somehow it's a receipt and it feels good. You have to live in the moment and not have too much respect, Isak tells SVT Sport about the first goal and the opening time in Spain.
- Spanish football suits me well and I've been able to adapt well and I get a lot out of my game. It feels good and it feels like I will be able to develop.
Europe's place is the goalReal Sociedad has started the season well and is fifth. The fine start has even surprised Isak.
- I'm a little surprised. I arrived fairly recently and did not have a great look. Although I know it is a good team, the start has been surprisingly good, despite the fact that things went a bit knocky at the end.
- We aim to reach a European place but it is important to take one match at a time and try to win every match.
On Saturday, Malta first waits for away in the European qualifying round.
- We are favorites and must take three points in that match. But it won't be easy, we have to do the job, ”says Isak.
