The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Federation decided at its meeting Tuesday at the Union's headquarters in Dubai, headed by Chancellor Saeed Al Houti, to punish the Togolese Al Ain player Laba Kudjou for fining 1000 dirhams for his leadership after scoring his team's first goal against Kalba Union last Friday in the first round of the Arabian Gulf League by lifting a shirt containing a picture. According to a member of the committee, Hamdan Rushoud Al Zyoudi, spokesperson of Khorfakkan Club, received a check of 165,500 dirhams for the former club player. Hamad Alwan.

"The committee has punished Al Ain player Kodjo in accordance with the regulation that prohibits the lifting of slogans or phrases concerning persons during official matches," Hamdan Rashoud Al Zyoudi, a member of the committee, told reporters after the meeting.

"During the meeting, the supervisor of Al Ittihad Kalba Mohammed Al Zaabi was also fined 15,000 dirhams and suspended for two matches for accompanying the team for uttering inappropriate words towards the referee's game against Al Ain in the first round of the league."

The committee decided to punish Ajman team player Issa Awfad and Bani Yas Khalil Saleh by suspending each of them for one game other than the penalty of expulsion and fined 50,000 dirhams for exchanging punches during the last two teams' match in the Rediff League.
