Frölunda has been one of the specialists at play in CHL. They have won three of the last four seasons, and have only missed the final once since the start of 2014-15.

But they have not got any further starts in the 2019-20 season.

First away victory for Mountfield

Yesterday, they lost the premiere at home against Graz on penalties, and today came the second straight loss.

Although 3,895 spectators (record number for a CHL group game match in Gothenburg) had made it to Frölundaborg, it was a loss of 2-3 against Czech Mountfield, who had never previously won a away match in CHL.

"Does not work"

Frölunda, long moments had a lot of puck. But it was not until the final stage of the match that they created chances seriously.

SVT Sports expert Jonas Andersson was not impressed with Frölunda's games.

- The game does not work properly. It's one thing to lose matches when you play well, but these six periods ... It's not been glorious ice hockey. Bit good, but far too long periods where Frölunda becomes too cumbersome and where it takes too long, where the slopes are not responsible for the puck, he said, and concluded:

- They lose fairly.

With the two initial losses, Frölunda is the last in the group after two matches played.
