It was a tough away match for AIK in Glasgow tonight. Celtic was far superior from the start, but AIK struggled well in the first half, and had 0-0 after the first 45 minutes of the match.

But already five minutes into the second half, Celtic managed to crack zero. James Forrest won an opponent against Rasmus Lindkvist, advanced a few meters and fired a shot that went through Oskar Linnér's fingers and into the goal.

Nice 2–0

And it would be worse. 25 minutes later Celtic got a free kick just over 20 meters from the goal, to the right of the penalty area's half circle. Forwards, Odsonne Edouard stepped in and fired a shot that was nicely screwed past the wall and into the first post - completely inaccessible to Linnér.

It turned out to be the last goal of the match. AIK never managed to push for any reduction, and AIK must therefore win at least two goals in the return in Solna next week to advance to the Europa League group play.
