The body of an Egyptian footballer was recovered from the Nile

An Egyptian footballer was drowned in the Nile River near the ferry, an Egyptian official said. Giza, South Cairo.

Egyptian authorities said they had recovered the body of Egyptian footballer Abdullah Sami from the Nile River in Giza governorate, south of Cairo.

According to Egyptian media, Sami, 31, played at the center of defense.
