In a press release, the municipality writes that it is certainly up to the owner of the well to ensure that they have access to water and that Njudung Energi cannot go out and refill dry wells.

But now five water filling points have been identified where residents can go to collect small amounts of drinking water for their households. In the fact box below you can read more about what these places are.

Irrigation ban

There is a ban on irrigation in Nässjö and today on Friday a ban was also introduced in Värnamo municipality as a result of the drought.

Several municipalities are also urging residents to conserve water, although there is not yet a ban. This is the case in Sävsjö and Vetlanda, among other places.
