See you on Monday ", concluded Tucker Carlson Friday, April 21 in the evening, at the end of what is therefore his last show on Fox News.

No reason is given in this separation announced by a rather dry press release. Just note that this decision comes a few days after Fox News avoided a defamation lawsuit with the Dominion company for relaying false information about the alleged rigging of the 2020 presidential election, via the company's voting machines.

The hosts who relayed this information on air, including Tucker Carlson, knew it was false. Text messages revealed during the investigation prove this. The messages signed by Tucker Carlson were particularly salty. He said he passionately hates Donald Trump, currently leading the polls for the Republican nomination in 2024, and he also criticized the supervision of the channel.

Tucker Carlson, who was once credited with presidential intentions, was reportedly one of the main witnesses at the trial. The big boss of the Murdoch media empire, Rupert Murdoch, could also have testified. One can imagine that he did not appreciate this prospect, just as he probably did not appreciate paying nearly $ 800 million to avoid a particularly embarrassing unpacking.
