Approximately 150 conscripts and officers from the Dal Regiment will participate in the Swedish Armed Forces' major exercise "Aurora-23". Together with elements from the Life Guards and I21, Dalregementet will establish a temporary battalion.
– It will be instructive for us as a new unit to train in a larger context. The soldiers will also be able to apply what they have learned here at home," says Patrik Warström, Head of Training.
International elements
14 nations, including the United States and Ukraine, will participate in the exercise and according to Patrik Warström, Dalregementet will train against several of the international participants.
"The soldiers find it exciting and they look forward to measuring their own abilities against qualified resistance," says Patrik Warström.
