Foreign Ministry: US diplomats violating the Vienna Convention will end their stay in Moscow ahead of schedule

This is stated in a message on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that on April 18, the US ambassador to Moscow, Lynne Tracy, who arrived at the ministry, was told that any steps by Washington aimed at inciting discord and enmity in Russian society, as well as using the diplomatic mission to cover up subversive work, would be severely suppressed.

"Employees of the US Embassy who violate the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and abuse their status will end their stay in Moscow ahead of schedule," the Foreign Ministry warned.

Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia expressed a strong protest to the US ambassador because of statements in support of publicist Vladimir Kara-Murza *.

On April 17, the Moscow City Court, by partial addition, sentenced the publicist to 25 years in prison in the case of treason and fakes about the Russian army.
