"The Council of Ministers authorized the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Minister of Development and Technology to issue relevant legislative acts in the field of protecting the Polish agricultural market from destabilization, including a temporary ban on the import of agri-food products from Ukraine," RIA Novosti reports.

On April 11, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, Robert Telus, noted that Warsaw proposes to consider the issue of distributing incoming Ukrainian grain to all countries of the European Union.

He announced plans to appeal to the EU to thoroughly revise the draft resolution on exemption from duties for the next period of goods and products from Ukraine.

Slovak Minister of Agriculture Samuel Vlčan said that a high content of pesticides was found in Ukrainian grain, which transits through Slovakia.
