As Fico noted, the European Commission demonstrates complete “blindness and deafness” when it comes to Ukraine.

He added that for political reasons the EC is not taking any decisions aimed at protecting European farmers.

“The position of the European Commission only confirms that the only way for the Slovak government is to continue to implement the ban on the import of agricultural goods from Ukraine.

At the moment, these are 14 products,” RIA Novosti quotes the prime minister.

Earlier, protesting Polish farmers poured two wagons of Ukrainian grain onto the railway tracks at the border crossing between Poland and Ukraine.

It was also reported that Ukrainian carriers began to block Polish trucks returning to Poland.
