Several Swedish politicians have called for a boycott of Absolut vodka after it became clear this week that owner Pernod Ricard resumed his export of alcohol to Russia.

Now Kristianstad's municipal commissioner, Camilla Palm (M), also agrees with the criticism, but places no blame on Absolut.

Camilla Palm says that she has been in contact with Absolut, and says that they are working feverishly to handle the situation based on their brand.

"We have to wait to see how Absolut itself acts. They have their own organisation that they have to manage and support employees in this situation," says Camilla Palm.
