It was at the end of February that the police wanted to check a vehicle at the E-center in Söderhamn. The driver, who lives in southern Hälsingland, pressed the gas and what was supposed to be an A-tractor with a maximum speed of 30 kilometers per hour turned out to have a completely different capacity.

The tour ends on the E4 and, according to the prosecutor, the speed is up to 180 kilometers per hour. A police helicopter takes part in the chase. The driver himself, who admitted to the course of events, says in interrogation that it was going at 230 kilometers per hour.

Passengers say they thought they were going to die, cried in fear and screamed for the driver to stop.

In Kilafors, the police stop the vehicle with the help of a nail mat. No one is physically harmed.

The driver describes that he went into "a state of shock and just gassed".
