In December last year, a light passenger car crashed into a building housing a cram school in Fukuoka City's Sawara Ward, injuring five people. Police said the driver was driving the car despite having a fever and feeling unwell, causing the accident. The 73-year-old driver of the mini-vehicle was referred to the prosecutor's office on suspicion of causing injury by negligent driving.

Last December, at an intersection in Momochi, Sawara Ward, Fukuoka City, a light passenger car driven by a 73-year-old male driver collided with a car waiting to turn right, then took off again and crashed into a building housing a cram school.

In this accident, four people were injured, including the junior high school students at the cram school, the instructor, and two people who were riding in the car that was rear-ended.

The driver of the light passenger car also suffered serious injuries, including broken bones.

According to the police, the driver of the light passenger car explained in response to a previous voluntary investigation that he had been suffering from fever symptoms for several days before the accident, and was on his way to the hospital at the time, and that he The drive recorder showed him walking unsteadily and driving in a meandering manner before getting into the car.

For this reason, the police charged the driver with negligent driving, which caused the accident even though he was unable to drive normally due to a fever and other unwell conditions.

According to police, the driver admitted to the charges, saying, ``I knew I would be fine if I only drove a short distance to the hospital.''
