The FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service are searching Saturday for an "armed and dangerous" teenager for his connection with the death of three minors in Florida, for which there are already two detainees, authorities said.

In a statement, the Marion Sheriff's Office said 16-year-old Tahj Brewton is the third suspect in the shooting death of three teenagers in the rural Ocklawaha community of that county, where the bodies were found. The other two suspects, ages 17 and 12, were taken into custody, the sheriff's office said Friday.

Both the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service have collectively offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to Brewton's capture.

"In addition to being wanted in connection with these homicides, Brewton has active juvenile custody orders ... for various felonies, including carjacking with a firearm, aggravated assault, grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and tampering with an electronic monitoring device," they said in a statement.

"He should be considered armed and dangerous," the statement added.

The events, released Friday, date back to last week, when a 16-year-old girl was found injured on a road near a dumpster in Ocklawaha. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition, where she died.

Hours later, the body of a 17-year-old boy was found a kilometer away, while a third 16-year-old victim, a woman, was found shot dead in Silvernail's car, partially submerged in a pond.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said the three attackers are "gang members" who "fled the scene but left a lot of evidence." The events would have occurred in less than 48 hours between March 30 and April 1 in Ocklawaha.
