"The southeast has always gravitated towards Russia and has always been a very important part of the Russian world," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to the parliamentarian, Odessa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions should be under the control of Russia, but the form of control can be different: from the union state to the subject of the federation.
At the same time, the western regions of Ukraine are not strangers to Russia, but there it is necessary to eradicate Nazism and prevent its revival, the politician believes.
