Chargé d'affaires a.i. of France summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry

"On April 4, chargé d'affaires of the French Republic in the Russian Federation, J. Darmadicari, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, to whom a strong protest was expressed," the statement reads.

The reason for the call was the false statements published by the embassy in social networks discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

"We pointed out to the Frenchman the categorical unacceptability of unfounded, false accusations against our servicemen, which sound especially inappropriate on behalf of the diplomatic mission of the country, which actively supplies military equipment and ammunition for the needs of the Ukrainian army and thus does everything possible to prolong hostilities," the Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called speculation the resolution of the National Assembly of France on the Holodomor in the USSR in the 1930s.
