King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia walked from Stjärntorget to Storstorget. The small piece was lined with people who then filled Stortorget. The King's speech was about what Jämtland County means with its nutrition and nature, and it was spiced up with personal memories from Storlien.
Will the royal family celebrate Easter in Storlien again this year?
"Of course," says King Carl Gustaf.
The biathlon team's World Cup successes, Zebastian Modin and guide Daniel Richardsson who won medals at the Para World Championships in Östersund were also praised. Rockin Pots and Jon Henrik Fjällgren provided the music.
"So fantastic to see the king for real. I get excited," says Nannie Chaopraserp, who stood at the front.
Olle Hoväng wanted so badly to have a memory of the big day and took home a place card.
"It's still a big day," he says.
