China on the lab leak theory: "No credibility whatsoever"

On Sunday, there were reports that the US Department of Energy's intelligence service assesses that the covid-19 virus likely leaked from a virus laboratory in Wuhan.

Now the FBI's top director Christopher Wray also claims that the virus likely came from a lab leak.

But it is something that China denies and now the spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is appealing to the US to stop bringing up the origin of the covid virus and "politicizing the tracking of covid-19".

- There is no credibility whatsoever in their claims, says Mao Ning, spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
