The sportfishing club drained the savings account last year and bought a camera with the associated box.

Since November, the club has been documenting all the fish that swim past the counter in the stream.

The camera sends the images to a computer which then, through AI, determines the species and documents the stock.

But it doesn't always turn out exactly right.

For example, the computer interprets river neon eyes as eels.

- We have to go into an app and confirm the species, says Lars Karlsson, board member of the sportfishing club.

80 observations

More than 80 sightings of river neon eyes have been made.

Something that surprises Lars Karlsson.

- You couldn't imagine that there would be so much, says Lars Karlsson.

In the clip below, Lars Karlsson also talks about an unusual sight that the camera caught.
