Pontus Rasmusson, influencer from Växjö municipality, was reported for aggressive and unauthorized marketing aimed at children.

He has been investigated by the Swedish Consumer Agency, which has now closed the investigation, writes Aftonbladet.

The reason is, according to the newspaper, that he removed the reported posts.

In addition, he has apologized to the Swedish Consumer Agency.

According to the newspaper, the influencer must have apologized because the Swedish Consumer Agency considered that he had violated the Marketing Act.

"As an influencer, it is difficult to think about everything and you learn and develop daily," writes Rasmusson in an email.

Received massive criticism

Pontus Rasmusson was named in 2021 as having the fifth most powerful YouTube channel in the country.

But a year later, he was met with massive criticism for producing content with sexual allusions for a largely underage target group, following an investigation by Svenska Dagbladet.

He was also accused of directing direct purchase requests to children without being clear about prices.
