The Governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, asked to change the requirements for processing payments to participants in the NWO.

The list of grounds for receiving one-time financial assistance will be expanded after it became known about the situation in which soldier Dmitry Prytkov found himself.

As RT previously wrote, senior sergeant grenade launcher Dmitry Prytkov himself is from the Khabarovsk Territory, for more than nine years he served under a contract on Sakhalin.

I decided to stay on the island after completing military service there: “During the service, my worldview has changed completely, and on the 11th month of the term, I decided to conclude a contract.

I believe that being a soldier is my vocation.”

In March 2022, Prytkov went to the zone of the special military operation.

On April 29, the senior sergeant, along with a platoon of Russian military personnel, was on a reconnaissance mission to search for and destroy enemy DRGs in one of the settlements occupied by Ukrainian military personnel.

Dmitry was the first to notice a mobile mortar crew and opened fire from an RPG on a pickup truck.

After a successful attack, reconnaissance continued.

Soon Prytkov's group discovered the enemy's stronghold.

The enemy opened heavy mortar fire on the Russian fighters.

Dmitry was seriously wounded by fragments of a mine that exploded nearby, but, despite this, he continued the battle.

As a result, the stronghold was taken, and the personnel of the platoon were saved.

For the heroism shown in that battle, Senior Sergeant Prytkov was awarded the medal "For Courage".

In June, the government of the Sakhalin Oblast issued a decree according to which members of the SVO who were seriously injured are entitled to a one-time financial assistance in the amount of 500 thousand rubles.

However, Dmitry was denied this money: at the time of the injury, the senior sergeant was not registered in the Sakhalin Region.

He is registered in the Khabarovsk Territory, but he also cannot claim payment there, since he serves in another region.

At the same time, Dmitry Prytkov said that he had all the documents in his hands: a certificate of injury, a discharge summary from the hospital, a certificate of service in the Sakhalin Region.

"We are working on the situation"

After RT wrote about the story of Dmitry Prytkov, he was contacted by the Sakhalin Ministry of Social Protection and offered help.

“On December 5, a lawyer from social security called me and said that he would help me write an application to the court to confirm my residence in the Sakhalin Region.

We registered all the documents, everything was submitted to the court, ”the serviceman said.

“We are working on the situation.

The fighter will receive payments in ten days, we are helping through the courts, ”said Vladimir Yushchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Sakhalin Region.

In addition, the leadership of the region, having studied the situation in which the senior sergeant found himself, decided to revise the list of grounds for issuing lump-sum payments to participants in the SVO.

“Dmitry Prytkov risked his life for our Motherland and was wounded.

He served on Sakhalin, left us for a special military operation, fought side by side with our guys, covered them.

We will not leave the hero without help.

Now the government's decision is being amended.

And Dmitry will receive a fixed payment next week, ”said Valery Limarenko, Governor of the Sakhalin Region.

The changes made by the decision of the governor to regional regulatory legal documents will make it possible to exclude such cases in the future, as they will apply to all similar cases, according to the official website of the government of the Sakhalin Region.

According to Dmitry Prytkov, his case is not an isolated one.

“When I applied to social security, they told me that I was not the only one who applied, and there was the same problem with registration,” the soldier says.

“I hope that your publication has helped and will help other people who come from a special operation and are faced with such a problem.”

He plans to spend the funds received on the down payment for a mortgage for young families.

“The program will open in February, as my wife and I were told during our summer consultation,” he says.

- But here, too, it will be necessary to confirm the fact of residence on Sakhalin for ten years.

I hope this can also be confirmed through the courts.”

“During the day (after publication

) my comrades sent me a screenshot with a slightly revised article of yours on the Sakhalin channels.

When I saw the official announcement on the government portal, I realized that you really helped me a lot.

I would like to say a big thank you to RT.

Thanks to your material, my problem is solved,” Dmitry Prytkov added.
