The Russian Bar Association is holding the Lawyer of the Year award ceremony for the 14th time at the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow.
The award was presented to Bastrykin by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
“Dear colleagues, this is indeed a very high award for me,” Bastryink said.
He stressed that the Investigative Committee will continue "to guard the rule of law, justice, humanity and the triumph of justice."
