Western, Arab and international countries and organizations condemned - on Saturday - the Houthi group's targeting of the Al-Dabba oil port in Hadramout, and the group considered it a warning blow to foreign oil companies, while there were deaths and injuries in an attack targeting a security patrol in the city of Al-Mahfad in Abyan.

The Houthi group "Ansar Allah" renewed its warning to foreign companies against the continuation of what it described as the looting of the people's wealth, and said that its decision does not conflict with efforts to end the military aggression, as she put it.

The group had announced the implementation of a warning strike Friday on an oil ship near the port of Dabba in Hadramout, in the south of the country.

The group’s military spokesman announced that the ship violated the decision issued by the competent authorities to ban the transportation and export of oil derivatives, and that sending the warning message to it came with the aim of preventing the continuation of looting of oil wealth, as he put it.

The group issued a warning to companies that they should comply with the decisions of the Sanaa government and refrain from contributing to the plundering of Yemen's wealth, according to the group's military spokesman.

After the attack, the National Defense Council of Yemen announced - on Saturday evening - the classification of the Houthi group as a "terrorist organization", "in accordance with the Crimes and Punishment Law, Arab anti-terrorism conventions, and international and regional treaties ratified by the Republic of Yemen."

The Council, which is the highest defense and security authority in Yemen, directed the relevant authorities to complete the necessary procedures to implement the resolution.

attack in Abyan

On the other hand, Yemeni local sources said that at least 4 soldiers were killed and 3 wounded in an explosion targeting a security patrol in the city of Al-Mahfad in Abyan governorate, east of Aden.

The sources indicated that an explosive device was planted along the main road, targeting a patrol of the Security Belt Forces loyal to the Southern Transitional Council at the entrance to Al-Mahfad.

The military spokesman for the Southern Transitional Council, Muhammad al-Naqib, said that one of the dead was a colonel, accusing al-Qaeda of carrying out the attack.
