Three women and a man were indicted and placed in pre-trial detention on Friday, suspected of murder after the discovery in April of a partly charred body in a forest in Vienne, we learned on Saturday from the prosecution. of Poitiers.

The four defendants, aged 26 to 40, are also suspected of having "damaged the integrity of a corpse" and of having "modified a crime scene", according to the prosecution, which did not gave no further details.

At the end of April, a walker had discovered the badly damaged and partially charred body of a young man at the foot of a tree stump in a wooded area of ​​Béruges, near Poitiers.

A judicial investigation has since been opened and the victim identified, but the prosecution has not communicated his name.
