A young woman miraculously survived the inevitable train run-over accident, as she was wearing headphones while crossing the railways in the northern Turkish state of Samsun.

The Turkish platforms broadcast the video clip the day before yesterday, Thursday, while the incident took place in mid-September, according to the date shown on the security camera that captured those moments.

While crossing the railway, the 18-year-old was putting on headphones and listening to songs as the tram was passing, whose driver was able to stop it very quickly.

According to the circulating clip, the young woman miraculously survived after the driver managed to stop the train at the last moments.

However, the girl was slightly hit by the train while crossing, as shown in the video.

Turkish media quoted the young woman, who miraculously escaped death, as saying: "I put the headset to distract myself, but I almost died because of it."

The train driver said - in a statement - "The accident occurred around 08:00 in the morning, while I was approaching Paruthan station in the direction of Line 1, I applied the handbrake, while the young woman was passing without looking to her right or left."

She added, "I sounded the siren, however, when the girl did not hear me, I applied the emergency brake, which is a strong brake."
