On the 15th, the 19th anniversary of the accident in which two people were hit and killed by a train at a manual railroad crossing near Takenotsuka Station on the Tobu Railway in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, bereaved families and others laid flowers near the scene. I said a prayer.

On March 15, 2005, two people were hit and killed by a train when a safety officer accidentally raised the barrier at a manual railroad crossing near Takenotsuka Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line in Adachi Ward, resulting in two people being hit and seriously injured. I was injured.

On the 15th, which marked 19 years since the accident, bereaved families and Tobu Railway employees visited the area near the accident site, held a moment of silence, placed flowers on a flower stand, and offered prayers.

The site was a ``closed railroad crossing'' that was only open for three minutes an hour during rush hours, but since then, progress has been made to make the railroad elevated, and the railroad crossing was closed two years ago.

Keiko Kayama, who lost her 75-year-old mother, said, ``Sometimes I still wonder what kind of stories my mother would have told me if she were still alive. There are no more railroad crossings, but railroad crossing accidents still happen all over the country. I want to make sure it doesn't fade away," he said.

The flower stand placed near the railroad crossing after the accident is scheduled to be removed when the elevated construction is completed at the end of this month, and Tobu Railway will instead provide information on the circumstances surrounding the accident and safety concerns. We are planning to install a plaque with the oath written on it.
