President Yoon Seok-yeol delivered a speech at the UN General Assembly for the first time since taking office at dawn on the 21st.

In his speech, President Yoon said that when freedom is threatened, the international community must come together to overcome it.

At the 77th General Discussion of the UN General Assembly, President Yun Seok-yeol took the podium for the 10th time. 



In a speech that lasted about 12 minutes, President Yoon focused on 'freedom' and 'solidarity'.



Today, the international community has diagnosed that "the world's civil liberties and peace are threatened by nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction and collective violations of human rights", and suggested 'solidarity' between liberal and democratic countries as a solution to overcome the complex crisis.

As the main tasks to be solved, President Yoon said, bridging the gap.



President Yun Seok-yeol emphasized that countries with economic and technological prowess should actively help those that are not.



He mentioned that Korea has developed from a country that receives help from the international community to a country that helps, and said that he would actively engage in so-called 'contribution diplomacy' that fulfills its responsibilities and roles in the international community.
