In the midst of an agricultural crisis, Gabriel Attal delivered his general policy declaration to the National Assembly on Tuesday, January 30, where he presented his program. The Prime Minister outlined his program for the middle classes and discussed the ecological transition. A balancing act at a time when farmers are blocking the roads around Paris.

In a world where everything is accelerating and transforming, I refuse that our identity can be diluted or dissolved

 ,” he declared in the preamble to his speech. “ 

France has never been, is not, and will never be a nation that suffers

 ,” he said.

The head of government announced a reform on low wages on Tuesday during his general policy speech. “We must change a system which has led us, for decades, to concentrate our aid, our exemptions, at the level of the minimum wage,” declared the head of government. “
