“On the one hand, the resolution is disappointing, since we still had hope that the IAEA still has a bit of integrity and independence,” Rogov told RIA Novosti.

On the other hand, Rogov noted, the conclusions of the agency's experts on the station are proof of their inability to conduct an objective and unbiased investigation.

Earlier, the Permanent Mission of Russia to international organizations in Vienna reported that the anti-Russian IAEA resolution on Ukraine does not contain a word about the systematic shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, Russia and China voted against the document, while Burundi, Vietnam, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Senegal and South Africa abstained.

As reported by Reuters, the IAEA board of governors adopted a resolution demanding that Russia "immediately cease actions against and at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant."
