This was stated by the permanent mission of Russia to international organizations in Vienna in a note verbale sent to the IAEA.

As the permanent mission recalled, Grossi’s visit to the Zaporozhye NPP took place on February 7. During the visit, as noted, the IAEA Director General was convinced that the facility was being operated safely.

It is noted that Grossi’s visit was accompanied by provocative actions on the part of Kyiv.

“This led to a significant reduction in the time spent by the general director at Zaporizhzhya NPP,” RIA Novosti quoted a statement.

According to the permanent mission, due to Kyiv’s provocation, Grossi was unable to visit all the originally planned premises and facilities at the Zaporizhia NPP.

Earlier, Rafael Grossi, during a visit to the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP, positively assessed the efforts aimed at ensuring the nuclear safety of the facility.
