His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airline Group, and Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, yesterday morning, offered condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II, during Their Highnesses’ visit to the British Consulate in Dubai, where they were received by the Consul General of the United Kingdom in Dubai and the Trade Commissioner for the Middle East, Simon Penny,

He also offered condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II, ministers and directors of departments from members of the Executive Council, directors-general, executives and members of the Federal National Council.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrote a word in the consulate’s condolence book in which they offered their sincere condolences and sympathy to King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the royal family and the friendly British people on the death of Queen Elizabeth the second.

Their Highnesses praised the distinguished historical relations of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the United Kingdom and the leadership's keenness in the two friendly countries to develop them and maintain their distinction through mutual respect and continuous coordination in various issues and fields.
