According to Stein, the American leader has served the United States worthily for almost 60 years.

“Now, as a final service to his party and his country, he must elegantly step down and help bring a new generation of Democrats to power,” he wrote in an article for the New York Post.

The author expressed confidence that Biden's "elegant resignation" is possible only if he voluntarily resigns from the presidency before the start of the autumn midterm elections.

According to Stein, the country during Biden's presidency saw failed domestic politics, rapid inflation jumps, as well as record low approval ratings for the activities of the American leader.

"Biden has shown throughout his tenure that he is incapable of effectively leading his party and country both at home and abroad," the observer concluded.

Earlier, the results of a study by the Gallup sociological service showed that Biden's rating among the inhabitants of the United States fell to a new minimum since his inauguration.
