At the start of the school year, he will replace Jean-Francis Pécresse, who until now was both general manager of Radio Classique and director of the antenna and information.

The latter was promoted to director of editorial development for the Les Echos division.

Bertrand Dermoncourt, already present in the group, will succeed him as general manager and as program manager for the channel.

This announcement marks the return of Guillaume Durand to the front of the radio scene after a 2021/2022 season marked by a stoppage of the journalist during the last six months of 2021.

He had explained at the beginning of the year in an interview with the daily Le Parisien to have disappeared from the antenna due to an operation linked to cancer of the jaw.

He had resumed in January a weekly cultural program on Sunday in the early evening ("Bande à part") before intervening in the morning of the station.

The novelist Frédéric Beigbeder will arrive on the station in early September to host a literary program there on Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., the group said, confirming information from the daily Le Figaro.
