The Russian Foreign Ministry reported that a ship with cargo for the Russians on Svalbard arrived in Barentsburg

“On the evening of July 8, the Norbjorn ship arrived in Barentsburg on the Svalbard archipelago,” the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that food, medical equipment, building materials and spare parts for vehicles were delivered to the archipelago.

Earlier it was reported that Norway agreed to let cargo through its territory for Russian settlements on Svalbard.

On June 28, Norway rejected Russia's application for the passage of goods for Russian settlements on Svalbard through the only checkpoint on the Russian-Norwegian border - Storskog.
