China News Agency, Taipei, May 20th, Question: Six years in power "politically in command", the DPP has put Taiwan in deep danger

On May 20, in an atmosphere of public opinion filled with the daily increase of nearly 100,000 local confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and public grievances, the leader of the Taiwan authorities, Tsai Ing-wen, ushered in the "sixth anniversary of his ruling."

Polls on the island show that people are highly dissatisfied with the government's governance in five areas: price, epidemic prevention, energy, air quality and cross-strait relations.

The DPP's six-year rule of "political command" has put Taiwan in deep danger.

Life and health are not guaranteed, or the people on the island are the most panicked recently.

The authorities hastily started the "coexistence mode", allowing the public to experience the rapid spread of the new coronavirus in the rush of children's vaccines, rapid screening reagents, oral medicines and medical resources.

Looking back, the government's epidemic prevention policy was full of diseases that lacked planning, refused to review, and made empty promises.

These flaws and loopholes are completely revealed in the face of the highly infectious Omicron variant.

However, the authorities did not take it seriously, and even dared to boast of their own merits, which caused the anger of the people to be unquenchable.

While the epidemic is spreading, people also have to endure the anxiety of rising prices and unstable and even unsafe supplies of living materials.

According to the latest statistics, the island's consumer price index (CPI) rose rapidly to 3.27% in March this year, hitting a new high in nine and a half years.

If the "pain index" of the unemployment rate of 3.66% in March is added to the calculation, it is as high as 6.93%, the highest since 2012.

It is true that due to the recent conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the impact of the epidemic, the world is generally facing inflationary pressures, but the situation in Taiwan is inextricably linked to the dereliction of duty by the authorities.

Take the recent "egg shortage" as an example. The authorities failed to monitor the production situation and responded in advance, and made a mistake of "freezing up"; after the shortage intensified, they advised the public to eat less eggs.

The numbness and inefficient countermeasures are repeated again and again, which is chilling; if you think of the DPP’s successive imports of “Lai pigs” and the lifting of the ban on “nuclear food”, firewood, rice, oil, and salt are not only more expensive, but also less safe. The DPP’s disregard People's livelihood is gnawing.

Frequent water and power outages in recent years have not only hurt the people, but also worsened the investment and business environment in Taiwan.

According to statistics, since 2014, Taiwan's backup power capacity has been below 15% for a long time (the statutory backup power capacity is 15%), and it will drop below 6% in 2021.

The reason is that the DPP authorities refuse to let go of the political card of "non-nuclear homeland" and pragmatically review energy policies.

In terms of water use, the situation of "water supply for five stops for two" has repeatedly occurred, and in the event of a heavy rain, it is unable to control the water. Therefore, public opinion condemns the authorities' so-called "water environment construction" or is also emptying the budget.

Water and electricity supply are not guaranteed. Do the DPP authorities have Taiwan's livelihood and development in mind?

The occurrence and delay of the above-mentioned problems clearly point to the core evil of the DPP's governance: politics in command.

In order to seek "independence", for the sake of beauty and pro-Japan, the people can put the people behind, and forget their ancestors.

In recent years, the DPP's move to seek "independence" has become more and more unscrupulous, which has caused panic among the people and made the cultural and educational circles extremely distressed.

Green camp politicians have repeatedly thrown out "Taiwan independence" remarks that blatantly provoke the one-China principle, and have used the so-called "national security law" and "reverse osmosis law" to intimidate and suppress cross-strait exchanges. .

At the same time, under the guise of "respecting diversity", they reached out to educate and carried out "de-sinicization" small actions one by one.

Taiwan, which was originally nourished by Chinese culture, is becoming a cultural orphan under the "green terror", does the DPP know?

The storm of the situation in the Taiwan Strait has been pushed higher and higher by various "Taiwan independence" acts.

Over the past few years, the DPP authorities have kowtowed to the United States and sought glory, and continued to buy American weapons with the hard-earned money of the people.

The ordinary people shook their heads when they saw the unequal "deals", but the authorities did not hesitate to bow their knees.

But playing with fire like this is coercing the people into the danger of "Taiwan independence".

Will the people trust such a selfish, immoral and incompetent ruler?
