“Near the drinking water intake in the settlement of Piskunovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have deployed an artillery battery (comprising three D-30 howitzers), its task is to provoke return fire from the Russian Armed Forces at the water intake,” he said.
It is noted that the destruction of the water intake will lead to the fact that 27 settlements with a total population of more than 15 thousand people will be left without water supply.
According to Mizintsev, "the Kyiv authorities are planning to use this provocation in the near future to accuse Russian servicemen of alleged atrocities against civilians, followed by wide coverage in Ukrainian and Western media."
Earlier, Mizintsev said that Ukrainian militants placed artillery in the monastery in the city of Svyatogorsk of the DPR.
